Diabetics have a hard time because they constantly have to watch what they eat and they also have to keep testing their blood to make sure their blood is at a normal level. If they let their blood sugar go for too long without trying to keep it at a normal level, then they will start developing major health problems. If you use these methods mentioned with your diabetic diet, you will be able to manage your blood sugar mush better.

My mother suffers from diabetes and tries to manager her blood sugar by eating a healthy diabetic diet. At first, her blood sugar would spike through the roof because she loves sweets, especially ice cream. She started lowering her blood sugar to a normal level by eating dill pickles. This eventually grew old since she hates pickles in the first place. She then moved to cinnamon to lower her blood sugar and it does a good job. She takes 2 500 mg cinnamon tablets every morning and also eats foods that she can flavor with cinnamon like oatmeal, tea and a low carb, low sugar ice cream. Although she does not eat the ice cream daily. The cinnamon does a great job at lowering her blood sugar.
